Skill Development and Entrepreneurship seeks to amongst others target unskilled and semi-skilled urban and peri-urban youth with focus on female for apprenticeship training in such demand driven sectors such as Metal Fabrication, Carpentry, Plumbing Cosmetology, Repairs and Maintenance, Fashion etc..

Unemployment amongst the youth remain critical challenge. We are passionate about employment creation and skills training for young people. We are providing Skills and Entrepreneurship training for young people to enabling them champion job creation and innovative businesses.
All you need is Passion and Commitment
To start your skill development training at Samakose, all you need is passion and commitment. Our Skill Development Program is a six, twelfth, Eighteen and Twenty Four weeks, practical course that runs through out the year, hands-on learning experience on how to successfully start a business.

You don't need a Business Plan!
In contrast to other approaches to incubation, you don’t need a business plan to begin the Skill Development Program and our methodology is practical, simple and quick. We prioritize the essentials right from the start and what matters most is the strength of your business idea and the market viability of your product or service.
Receive Action-Oriented Training
Young People receives action-oriented training and lecturing sessions, and then spend most of their time outside of Samakose talking to customers, partners, and competitors by using our customer development model and business model canvas through a local common language.
Its Just the Begining
The Skill Development Program ends with trainees pitching their business to judges, and those who are successful qualify for StartMeUp incubation at Samakose.
